Hardcover, oblong folio in laminated dark gray pictorial boards, no dust-jacket as issued. 304 pages. Profusely illustrated with color reproductions of the artist’s paintings and half-tones of sepia photographs. First edition. Signed presentation copy by the author on blank free end-paper, dated 3-1-16, with an additional note by the author on single folded sheet, directing the recipient to an online commentary on Hutchen’s paintings. No previous ownership marks. Fore-edge shows light staining [coffee?] just visible on inner margins of front and rear pages, else clean. Overall a clean, tight, sound copy, which appears like new but for mild staining to fore-edge. A nice presentation copy of a scarce book on a rediscovered artist of the early 20th century impressionist school. A large, heavy book, Priority and International orders will require additional postage, calculated as close to actual cost as possible.
