Hardcover, brown cloth lettered in gold, with image of riding crop and horse-shoe on front board. Illustrated with 16 full page plates. Inner hinge cracked just after titlepage, with result that book is slightly shaken. Covers still firmly atttached, all pages prsent and firly attached, book block tight. General moderate rubbing to cloth and gold lettering faded, especially on spine. Overall a good solid copy of this early printing.
