Priority unknown, albeit research suggests that this edition was printed post 1889. The first title in Murray’s Adirondack Tales. Murray, aka Adirondack Murray, was an American clergyman and author who wrote prolifically on the Adirondack Mountains in Upstate New York. The present stories introduce the reader to John Norton, a trapper and idealized New England outdoors-man. No previous ownership marks. Not ex-library. A clean, square, internally unmarked copy. Rear board shows mild old stain. Very good.
