Pegram Lectureship series. the author approaches the question of ‘scientific utopia’ from the perspective of C.P. Snow’s ‘two cultures’, stressing the duality of the two separate world-views and the danger inherent in one producing change in ignorance of the other. New York Times book-review clipping and one other laid -in loose, and with original receipt from 1961. Book is clean, square and unmarked but for a touch of wear at heel of spine. Dust-jacket edge-worn and showing old mild damp-stain at lower spine. Very good in a good dust-jacket.
