Compiled and edited by Sylvan Cole, Jr.; with a foreward by Jacob Kainen. 257pp., Illustrated with 126 monochrome plates. The frontispiece for this work is an original lithograph created by the artist especially for this volume. The “definitive volume, the only catalogue of Soyer’s prints…” this Catalogue Raisonae has an errata slip laid in, in addition to a printed slip describing the frontispiece and a copy of the price-list, dated 1967, commissoned for the Deluxe Catalogue Raisonae and listing all prices then extant for the prints here-in. No previous ownership marks. White dust-jacket is clean, with no tears or chips. Book is fine condition, with images printed on recto’s, with opposing verso’s containing letter-press descriptions. A fine copy in a very good+ dust-jacket.
