This two volume set, edited by Joseph Grego, contains 350 drawings and engravings by Robert Seymour, Buss, H.K. Brown {Phiz}, Leech, Crowquill, Onwhyn, Sibson, Heath, Sir John Gilbert, C.R. Leslie, F.W. Pailthorpe, Charles Green, et alia, along with notes on contemporaneous illustrations and Pickwick artists. No previous ownership marks. Minor sporadic marginal foxing, especially to fore-edges of bulked sheets, albeit text and illustrations very clean. A near fine copy of an increasingly scarce set. Podeschi H217.
