This two volume set, edited by Joseph Grego, contains 350 drawings and engravings by Robert Seymour, Buss, H.K. Brown {Phiz}, Leech, Crowquill, Onwhyn, Sibson, Heath, Sir John Gilbert, C.R. Leslie, F.W. Pailthorpe, Charles Green, et alia, along with notes on contemporaneous illustrations and Pickwick artists. Bound in original dark green cloth with gilt stamping on front covers. Paper cracked on inner hinges but all boards still tight and secure. Former owners name and date neatly inscribed on fly of each volume. Light fraying to spine tips.
