Description

Thick oblong quarto, black cloth in yellow pictorial dust-jacket. 1,035pp., plus 16 page addenda. Extensively illustrated with monochrome photographs. Fifth English language edition, prepared by A.D. Baker III. . A comprehensive reference source for extant fleet composition, vessels and technologies for 1984. Arranged in alphabetical order, major and minor navies are profiled, from Albania to Zanzibar. [For example, Bangladesh’s fleet is comprised of several British built frigates, and various modern patrol craft supplied by China, Russia, Japan and Yugoslavia.] No previous ownership marks. A clean, square, unmarked copy. Minor spots from age on top edge of bulked sheets and no longer new, but a near fine copy nevertheless. Dust-jakcet bright and complete, with one minor closed tear tape repaired on verso. Near fine in a near fine dust-jacket. N.B. This is a very heavy book, extra postage charges will apply.
