Compiled by Dickens’s grand-daughter, most pages have three dated entries, those printed on verso’s contain letterpress quotes from the novels, those on verso’s are blank, Endpapers toned. Old news clipping pertaining to Dickens American tour laid-n. No name, no book-plate, no writing interanlly, etc. A nice clean copy with Edward Ardizzone drawings illustrating the first page of every month. Very good.
