Hardcovers, two volumes complete, dark blue cloth with spines lettered and decorated in gold. Top edges gilt. 314 and 319 pages respectively Volumes III & IV [of 25} in the National Author’s Edition of Twain’s Writings. Illustrated with frontispiece in each volume and four full page plates by T. de Thulstrup. Circa 1910. No previous ownership marks. A few pages roughly opened on bottom edge at binder in each volume, not affecting text. Mild dulling to blue cloth on cover, else a clean, tight and unmarked copy. Very good.
