Hardcover, blue cloth, spine lettered in gold. 578pp., Illustrated with 20 maps [many fold-out] on India paper. No date, circa 1923. Ex-library copy with spine number removed and several previous owner’s labels obscuring ref. numbers on half-title and contents page. Extra-illustrated by former owner with color plates crudely affixed to endpapers and prelims. Housed in reinforced mylar covers with wrap-around artwork inserted and title and volume number printed on spine. Minor wear to cloth at top of spine and paste show through on mounted illustrations, else book is clean, sound and square. Good. Scans sent on request.
